Audify is an application that reads your notifications out loud. That way, instead of just hearing an alarm when receiving an email or text, you'll hear exactly what is being sent and who is sending it. Let's say a friend sends you an email, using Audify you'll hear exactly who it's being sent by and what the subject line is.
Audify's settings allow you to set your notifications to be read aloud only if your headphones are connected, just in case you don't want anyone else to hear your notifications. You can also set Audify to work the other way around. That way if you connect your headphones Audify will stop 'singing' your notifications.
Other extras include blacklisting any words you choose so Audify won't read notifications that include them. Or, you can even completely exclude some applications so Audify will never read their notifications aloud. Audify will not keep alerting you of notifications for the same app which can be very useful in some situations.
